Happy Belated Mother’s Day: a boy’s first study in sequential art.
When i was about 4, i guess, my mom decided to sell the family car. I loved that car, apparently, and begged my mom to let me take her picture beside it so that i’d have a picture to remember. So, as she generally did, she indulged my creative whim. Then apparently, i decided to take a few more. Mom maybe didn’t show the best judgement in handing an expensive piece of photographic equipment to a 4 year old, but i definitely got some images to remember.

This was a Secret Invasion sketch variant cover i doodled on back in 2009. The request was a Skrull twist on Johnny Craig’s infamous EC Crime SuspenStories #22 cover, which i jumped at the chance to do.
Donatello vs Zombie Shredder. i don’t draw TMNT stuff very often, but i always love doing it. This was a commission from the Calgary Expo.
