This thing’s a veritable treasure trove…until you get to the 90s when apparently they stopped actually designing movie posters.
The last of our Vonnegut pieces, home from the framer, but yet to find a spot on the wall. “Kilgore Trout in Cohoes, NY, 1975.” Screen print on clayboard. Printed by Joe Petro III, in Lexington, KY, with a remark sketch by Kurt. Number 3 in an edition of only four. There’s some really amazing subtlety in texture on this serigraph that Instagram cannot convey.

Also, for some reason IFC never posted my strip for Ep 212 of MARON. This one features the great Joey Diaz, as a faded comedian from whom Marc has inadvertently and very regretfully stolen an old joke.
In light of recent events, i felt like i had a few words to offer any of my readers who might find themselves in that desolate kind of place.
True depression is a dark, horrible place that fools you into thinking it’s cozy, warm, and safe. But really, you just seek out isolation so you can mentally eviscerate yourself until you finally fall asleep, each time hoping that you might not wake up and have to face it all again. I’ve been well acquainted with hardship and personal loss for as long as I can remember, and have seen mental illness worm its way through my family with devastating effects. I’ve been at the bottom, and even considered cashing in my chips. I don’t say any of that like it’s a badge of honor or anything, but to hopefully let some lonesome reader out there know that they’re not defective or worthless, and most of all, not alone. Few in the world have it easy, and the bitch of it all is that the more keenly aware you are of people and the world, the more anguish and beauty become the twin edges of the same sword. Thankfully, when I was low, I had a couple friends worth talking to, and showed me life was worth it. I talked to my doctor and got help. Shortly afterward, I met Kara, and I basically turned my whole life upside down, moved to a new town, and cut off every poisonous relationship, and started over. Best move I ever made. The point is, you’re never truly as alone as you feel. Take care of yourself out there. If you need help, please seek it out.
Flipping through my sketchbook, and found this #SonsOfAnarchy sketch I did several months ago, but for some reason never shared.

Well, here it is! The ASSASSIN’S CREED video by Rob Zombie and yours truly! Hope you like seeing people in fancy clothes getting their heads cut off!
Angryblue rocked the finishes, and John Rauch crushed the colors. Also, special thanks to the amazing animation team at New Science, for really going above and beyond.
Friday’s #SDCC Schedule:
Assassin’s Creed panel,
I’m excited to finally show you guys the new San Diego Comic Con exclusive ASSASSIN’S CREED poster by Angry Blue and myself!
It’s being released this weekend, in tandem with the release of the animated short directed by Rob Zombie, with artwork by yours truly, finished by AngryBlue, and color by John Rauch, presented by New Science & Ubisoft.
The image features the game’s lead character, Arno, in a stained glass window composed of images from the actual animated short.
The print is an 18 x 24”, 3-color silkscreen print on natural toned paper, with a clear gloss overlay containing metallic flake, and is signed by both artists. The print is limited to a run of 700 copies total. 500 will be given away at San Diego Comic Con 2014. After the show, AngryBlue and I each will have 100 available on our respective websites.
