Who is FESTUS ROTGUT?
Keep your eyes on the horizon for more news on this unsavory varmint.
i wish i was one of those guys who could just do cheesecake. Seriously, it’s nerve-wracking. i feel like i’m performing goddamn surgery or something.
This is some serious Werner Herzog/ David Lynch level shit. I will see this every time i close my eyes for the rest of my life.
I’m not saying this is necessarily the best panel i’ve drawn recently, but it’s one of the most fun.
WE DID IT…. and then some!
The outpouring of support has been truly overwhelming. In one month, we got 466 backers for Cincy ComiCon and the pledges added up to $38.8K! The final tally on Monday’s close was 155% our goal. Your generosity is astounding and we’re very excited to have the opportunity to bring you the best convention we possibly can.
The show’s already lined up a stellar roster, and good news keeps coming in all the time. As we continue to build toward September, things will only get better and better, and we can’t wait to share it with you!
…and spread the word!
This is it!

Your contribution not only helps us launch, but you can score some really nice pieces for great prices along the way. We’ve still got available commissions spots from myself and some of the industry’s nicest and most talented folks. ONLY A FEW DAYS LEFT!
In these last days of Cincinnati ComiCon’s Kickstarter campaign, i am re-opening my commission list!
5 new spots available.
8.5”x11”, any one character of your choice
penciled, inked, fully rendered.
$1000 each, no bidding, just buying.
International shipping available, which makes this offer as rare as hens’ teeth.
Perfect for the discerning geek in your life (or yourself— hey, i don’t judge!) this holiday season, the proceeds go to help launch Cincinnati ComiCon, and the support would be much appreciated. For more information, please check out the Kickstarter page here: http://kck.st/UkU7rl
Betty Boop gets a bad rap these days. As a kid, the Grampy episodes were always my favorite ones. He was the prototypical maker/lifehacker! This was the first rendition of Tiger Rag i ever heard, and to me, it remains the definitive. Also, we get a little of Fleischer’s signature turntable model backgrounds, which i think look great.
Seriously. Jill is the best. Just look at that!
Delirium by Jill Thompson (Happy Birthday, Jill!)
Jill will be enrapturing audiences at Cincinnati ComiCon 2013!
For more info on how you can contribute to this show, and to come see Jill and many more of the comics industry’s finest creators, please check out our Cincy ComiCon KICKSTARTER!
my mind is totally blown by this guy. he has blown my total mind.
I love this. As an artist who lives off his work, I hope one day I can make art purely for the sake of self fulfillment. (not that I don’t enjoy my work now, I do)
Gizmo Duck for Paolo Belfiore.
One of my favorite characters from one of my favorite cartoons. One of my favorite sketches i’ve ever done.
The Fear Agent Omnibus vol.1 is right around the corner!
It’s a tremendous tome of sci-fi action fantasy, and handsome as all Hell on a bookshelf.
You can get it here: http://goo.gl/cSCuU
totally pre-ordered mine months ago. i can’t wait!
Aw jeez. Need this.
